ARRIMAX 18/12 Basic Set

ARRI ARRIMAX 18/12 Set includes lamphead ARRIMAX 18/12, ballast EB 12/18 with ALF and trolley (L2.76290.0), 4-leaf barndoors, spot reflector and head-to-ballast cable.

ARRIMAX 18/12 conceived as the most powerful HMI lamphead in the world. It can work with the most powerful single-ended lamps at 18 kW or 12 kW with base GX51 and GX38. 

But the main feature of this device is a conjunction of high capacity and unique patented MAX Technology.

The maximum light output is achieved by combining the advantages of PAR and Fresnel lenses.

Lighting elements, used in MAX Technology, completely open-face, and therefore extremely bright.

They focus in the range of 35° or more, creating a clear even shadows.

ARRIMAX 18/12 can be used in three modes and up to 1200 Hz lamp operation.  With standard reflector beam angle is 15°-50°, with spot reflector – 8°-15°.

With ARRIMAX 18/12 performance on set is accelerated by eliminating the need for bulky, easily breakable spread lenses and the overall cost of props is reduced, using and maintenance of the device becomes easier.

ARRI EB 12/18 – the classic electronic ballast that operates at standard current frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Should be used with lamps of 12000W and 18000W.

Ballast operates in two modes – 75 Hz in «Flicker Free» mode and 50 or 60 Hz in «Low Noise» mode.
