Congratulations to all the nominees of the 87th Academy Awards. It is with great pleasure to see that once again ARRI cameras are the number one choice for all the nominees in the two main technical categories regarding image capture. All the nominees for Best Picture and Best Cinematography have captured their images using ARRI cameras, either be it on film or digital or a combination of both. Note one might argue that MovieCam (used on Boyhood) is not an ARRICAM but due to the longevity of the project and the merge of Moviecam into ARRI to make the ARRICAM, which was used in other productions, for practical purposes Boyhood is also an ARRI film.
